Pre-Production Planning

Getting the look

From a raging light flurry to a raging blizzard, melting spring snow to an artic drift and anything in-between, we have the experience, expertise, equipment and products to create exactly the look you need.

Falling Snow

We have the largest fleet and widest range of professional artificial falling snow equipment in the region. The snow effect is non toxic, non staining, self clearing and fast evaporating. Used on thousands of sets for over 40 years there is no equal.

Ice and Frozen

Artificial Ice is very useful for projects where continuity and safety are required. For example we are able to float a highly photorealistic artificial ice effect simulating a frozen lake that actors fall through. Thankfully the water does not need to be cold.

Floating Ice

Our cellulose grey and black products allow us to create the look of fire damage for volcanic, war torn and apocalyptic scenes. Once shooting is wrapped we are able to return the location back to normal by simply washing the effect away.

Area and Costing

Most of our effects are costed by area in square meters. Please try to be as realistic as possible when considering number of retakes that may be necessary and if the set needs to be reset fully in between takes.

We recommend using an area calculator such as GPS Field Measure to determine the size of the location.
